Many companies can provide a childcare service for you on a special day. What Uncle Fun offers goes well beyond your everyday babysitting experience. Uncle Fun provides what equates more to a half day enrichment camp, where your child will get to really immerse themselves in fun activities that build on the mind, the body and the spirit.

Uncle Fun's pricing is determined by the number of children entertained. The base cost is $200 per hour for up to 8 kids. Fewer than 8 kids does not reduce the price. Additional attendees would need to be discussed to reach an agreed upcharge. For example, 8 additional kids would require an additional entertainer at another $200 per hour, but if you need to add only one or two extra children, depending on their ages, this may just be a small extra fee. Children ages 4 to 12 and preferably those who are actually interested in participating.

Sessions typically are a minimum of 2 hours and a maximum of 6 hours. Additional hours or days can be discussed with Andrew during your initial consultation to get detailed pricing.

From musical parades, to building fairy and troll houses from found objects. Art and craft projects, face painting, learning basic Kung Fu and ninja skills, magic shows and more.

Depending on the playscape, getting a little messy is always a possibility. Andrew provides smocks that can be used during any phase of play. These smocks are heavily encouraged during art and craft activities.

Uncle Fun is willing to travel within a 100 mile radius of Charlottesville, VA. Anything outside of a 50 mile radius of Charlotteville may require a transit upcharge that can be discussed with Andrew during your initial consultation.

The earlier the better, especially if your event is during a busy event season.

Yes, we require a deposit upon booking your date. The deposit is refundable until 2 weeks before your scheduled special event. After that time the deposit is no longer refundable. The amount of your deposit will be discussed during your initial consultation with Andrew.

Yes, a waiver will need to be signed by a guardian for each child participating in Uncle Fun's Adventures. We do our best to be careful in all things we do and Andrew is a stickler for listening and following instructions, so don't worry.

You must cancel within 2 weeks of your scheduled special event day to receive a refund of your initial deposit. Within the 2 week window, no refunds are issued.
